You can view real-time availability for both Ty Melyn and Swn Y Don via our Live calendar. Simply visit the property pages on our website and click on “Check Availability” or “Book Now” for a seamless booking experience.
Are the properties pet-friendly?
Yes! Both Ty Melyn and Swn Y Don are pet-friendly, and we welcome well-behaved dogs. Each property* has a fully enclosed garden, providing a safe space for your furry friends to play. Please review our pet policy for specific guidelines.
* Please note: If Ty Melyn Apartment 2 is booked individually, access to the garden area is not included.
Do the properties have parking?
Absolutely. Both properties offer off-road private parking:
- Ty Melyn: Space for multiple vehicles, up to 2 per apartment.
- Swn Y Don: Space for up to 5 vehicles, ensuring convenience and peace of mind.
Are your properties suitable for large groups or families?
- Ty Melyn: When booked as the complete house sleeps up to 10 guests. It can also be booked as either two self-contained apartments or the one large house, offering flexibility for families and groups.
- Swn Y Don: Sleeps up to 10 guests, with spacious interiors and a large garden, perfect for multi-generational families or group gatherings.
Is Wi-Fi available in the properties?
Yes, both properties are equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi throughout, making it easy to stay connected during your stay.
Ty Melyn-Specific Questions
What makes Ty Melyn unique?
Ty Melyn is a flexible and versatile holiday home that can be rented either as:
- Two separate apartments (Ty Melyn 1 and Ty Melyn 2), ideal for smaller groups or couples seeking privacy.
- One large house, accommodating up to 10 guests, perfect for families or groups travelling together.
Each apartment is self-contained and thoughtfully designed for comfort:
- Ty Melyn 1 (Ground Floor): Features one spacious king-size bedroom, one spacious twin single bed bedroom and one twin single bunk bed bedroom, a bathroom with a full-size bath, walk-in rain shower and heated towel rails, a fully equipped kitchen, and access to the hot tub and garden area with breathtaking sea views.
- Ty Melyn 2 (First Floor): Includes 2 bedrooms—1 king-size bedroom and 2 singles, a bathroom with a full-size bath, walk-in rain shower and heated towel rails — a fully equipped kitchen, and stunning sea views from the living area. Please note: Ty Melyn 2 does not have access to the hot tub or garden area when booked as a standalone apartment.
Does Ty Melyn have outdoor amenities?
Yes, Ty Melyn boasts exceptional outdoor features, including:
- A luxurious hot tub (exclusive to guests of Ty Melyn 1 or full-house bookings).
- A beautifully maintained garden area with sea views and outdoor seating, perfect for al fresco dining or relaxing in the coastal breeze.
- These amenities are only available to guests booking the entire house or Ty Melyn 1 individually.
Does Ty Melyn have a walk way down to the beach?
Yes, reaching Newgale Beach is easy! Simply walk approximately 100 meters down the road, just past the last house, where you’ll find a path that leads directly below the road. This connects to a scenic pathway providing convenient access to Newgale Beach and the nearby café.
Swn Y Don-Specific Questions
How close is Swn Y Don to Newgale Beach?
Swn Y Don is less than a minute walk from Newgale Beach, making it ideal for beach lovers, surfers, and paddleboarders.
What outdoor facilities does Swn Y Don offer?
Swn Y Don features:
- A luxurious hot tub with sea views, perfect for relaxing while watching the sunset.
- A wood-fired BBQ and separate fire pit area for al fresco dining or cosy evenings outdoors.

What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is outlined during the booking process. We strive to be flexible and accommodating where possible.
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in is from 4 PM, and check-out is by 10 AM. Please contact us if you need special arrangements, and we’ll do our best to assist.
Are the properties suitable for events or celebrations?
While we welcome group bookings, our properties are designed for quiet and relaxing stays. We kindly ask guests to respect our no-party policy to ensure a peaceful experience for everyone.
